Kirsten has been the Office Manager at City Wide since late 2013. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Histology in 2011, she decided to switch gears and apply her talents to the administrative world. With plenty of background in customer service, Kirsten enjoys being as helpful as possible to the operations and sales team at City Wide. She assists them from the office, so they can have more time prospecting and taking care of current customer’s needs.
Shelly Grohovsky, Accounting Specialist
Shelly grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, where she attended Normandale Community College and studied Fine Arts and Photography. She spent 13 years as an early childhood education team, followed up three years as a stay-at-home mom. She now lives in Savage, Minnesota, with her husband, Gabe, and their two daughters, Madison and Lindsey. In May 2014, she switched gears by joining City Wide Facility Solutions as a Bookkeeper. Shelly handles accounting duties along with internal support for the sales and operations teams. She loves being part of such a talented team.
Jon Wong, Accounting Specialist
Jon is from Eagan Minnesota. He graduated from the University of St Thomas with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. Prior to joining the City Wide team, he worked in tax accounting.
Fay Martinez, Independent Contractor Coordinator
Mariafe (Fay) Martinez is an Independent Contractor Coordinator for City Wide Facility Solutions. She graduated from Augsburg College in Minnesota and shortly after accepted a Marketing position in Minneapolis. After spending a few years working for an E-Commerce company she moved over to City Wide in February 2020. She enjoys working with the prospective and current independent contractors at City Wide. Outside of City Wide, she enjoys spending time hiking and playing with her new puppy.
Mitch joined City Wide Facility Solutions in 2008. He was originally hired as a Facility Solutions Manager of the Couth Metro. After five years, he was promoted to Director of Operations. For the last few years, he’s been running our Account Management team. He embraces this role and enjoys it. He enjoys spending time with his management team each week, reviewing events, and giving an outsider’s opinion.
Before joining City Wide Facility Solutions, Maghan spent over 15 years working in the financial industry. She worked with families and small businesses in need of financial assistance. She also spent a great deal of time working within the department of corrections, where she helped inmates prepare for their return to the community and workforce. She grew up in southeastern Michigan, but moved to Deephaven, Minnesota, in 2011 with her husband, Bryan, and twins, Sydney and Owen. She completed her bachelor’s of business degree at the University of Minnesota in 2019.
Ryan is a Facility Services Manager for the southeastern metro area. He grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota. After graduating Lakeville High School, he attended Metropolitan State University where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration. After graduating college, he excelled in insurance sales and became a top performer in the country. He also has experience in the construction industry and considers himself mechanically-inclined. He has a proven sales and customer service background, alongside his construction experience – all which make him well-suited to provide City Wide Facility Solutions customers the expertise for every maintenance need.
Tim Nelson, Facility Solutions Manager
Mitch joined City Wide in 2018. He graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration. He’s passionate about building relationships and maintaining them, all while being as helpful as possible. His main goal is to create excellent customer service.
Eric Doelp, Facility Solutions Manager
Before starting his career at City Wide, he was a Project Manager for large retail construction and remodel rollout projects. He started his career in the facilities management industry as a technician and grew into a facilities manager with over 100 retail properties to oversee. He is excited to help maintain customer’s buildings with all things facilities and establish partnering relationships.
Eric spent most of his life on the East Coast where he was born and raised in South Jersey. He attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and graduated with a BFA in Applied Media Arts. He met his wife in Florida and moved to her home state of Minnesota. Despite the windchills, I have adapted well and am happy to call Minnesota home for me, my wife, and two children. In the warmer months if he is not at the pool or park with his kids, or behind the grill at the BBQ, he is mostly likely on the golf course. As for the rest of the months, our family enjoys vacationing to Hawaii, visiting family in the North East, and spending time on the beaches in Florida.
Desmond Foy, Facility Solutions Manager
Desmond grew up in Wisconsin but moved to Minnesota to attend College at Winona State University and has been a Minnesota resident ever since.
He has a background in sales and sales management and really enjoys working with clients and developing long lasting relationships. He consider himself to be an extension of his client’s businesses and works hard to provide them with the best solutions for their needs.
In his free time he works as an unpaid chauffeur, driving his children around to their various events and activities. He and his wife are tortured Viking fans and always hold out hope that “next year is going to be our year.” They live in St. Louis Park but feel most at home in an uncomfortable stadium seat cheering on their favorite teams.
Chad Michaels, Facility Solutions Manager
Chad grew up in Inver Grove Heights. After graduating from Simley High School, he attended Concordia University St. Paul, where he earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice and played football. After college, he began working various jobs, generally in the customer service or public safety fields. During this time, he also began his coaching career at Concordia Academy in Roseville. At Concordia Academy, he coached and later coached along side our very own Vice President – Director of Sales Tyler Olson.
Most recently he worked inside sales, customer support and account managing for a local online company focused on video editing software for sports teams worldwide.
He currently lives in Rosemount with my wife Kelly and their dog Andie. They enjoy spending time with friends and family. Kelly and Chad also enjoy attending concerts and local college football games.
Kelly Steene, Facility Solutions Manger
Kelly Steene is a Facility Solutions Manger at City Wide Facility Solutions and could not be happier.
She graduated from the University of Wisconsin STOUT with a B.S. in Hospitality, Tourism and Restaurant Management. She has experience in both sales and operations. Most recently she owned and operated her own business. She enjoys building and maintaining relationships with clients and helping in any way that she can. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family, fishing, golfing, and anything outdoors.

Tyler attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, where he graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. Tyler also received his Masters in Business Administration from St. Thomas in May 2013. Tyler began his sales career working at a fitness center, but eventually made his way over to City Wide Facility Solutions, through a recommendation by his friend, Mitch Brunette. As Vice President- Director of Sales, Tyler goes out and builds new customer relationships. He scouts out businesses that are looking for help in their maintenance departments and also shows them how we can save them time and stress.
Josh Holdahl is a Sales Associate for the West Metro at City Wide Facility Solutions. After growing up in Plymouth, Minnesota, he graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Accounting.
Before joining the City Wide team, he spent four years as a regional sales manager for a food company. While overseeing the Midwest region, he was able to develop a wide range of skills to get products placed in as many accounts as possible.
When not at work, you can find Josh engaged in outdoor activities. In the summer months, he spend his time golfing, running, biking, and going to the lake. In the winter, he plays in a hockey and broomball league. He is also sure to mix in a couple ice fishing trips each season.
Marcel Cook, Sales Executive
Marcel joined City Wide in 2021. Originally his family is from Hawaii but grew up in a little southern Minnesota town called Sleepy Eye. From there he attended Minnesota State University Mankato with a background in Kinesiology. In his spare time, he enjoys training in mixed martial arts (MMA), coaching kickboxing, and being active outdoors.
John Simon, Sales Executive
John joined City Wide in 2021 as a Sales Executive. He graduated from Eau Claire University with an educational background. He then pursued further education and got his Masters in Education from St. Mary’s University along with his Doctoral Degree from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He used his skills in teaching young minds but wanted a new challenge and entered the sales world, knowing that building relationships and helping others is a gift he has. In his spare time, you will find John at one of his children’s sporting events, fishing, boating, or fixing something.
Garrett Ubel, Sales Associate
Garrett is from Woodbury Minnesota. He graduated from Winona State University in 2021 with a BS in Business Administration. He worked mainly in customer service positions before joining City Wide as his first professional job position.
Alex Grant, Sales Associate
She recently moved to Minneapolis from Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband and 3 children. She grew up mostly living overseas and spent ten years of her adult life living in Sydney Australia, where two of her children were born. She loves to travel and experience new places and moving to Minnesota has certainly been an experience- She never knew there were so many activities one could do on a frozen lake! She also enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
Haleigh Filer, Sales Assistant
Haleigh Filer grew up in Sacramento, California. She moved to Minneapolis in 2017 to attend North Central University. She graduated in 2019 with a degree in Social Work. She now serves as a Sales Assistant at City Wide Facility Solutions. Although she is new to City Wide, she loves being a part of this team already.
Steve joined City Wide in 2011 as an Operations Manager. He welcomes challenges that are presented to him. Steve attended Kansas Community College and Indiana State University, where he majored in business. Steve is also a veteran of the U.S. Army and has completed tours of duty in Central America and overseas. He enjoys interacting with clients, overseeing projects, and continues to make every effort to ensure customers’ expectations are met.
Mark Camp, Senior Contract Compliance Manager
Mark started at City Wide in 2015. He is the eyes and ears of the Facility Services Managers in the evenings. He follows up on customer requests and ensures things are getting done right at night.
Dan Anderson, Contract Compliance Manager
Excited and motivated to be part of the City Wide team. 10+ years in cleaning and maintenance, 6 years management of housekeeping at the YMCA In Bismarck ND. Dan’s free time is spent with his daughter and son, kayaking or cheering for the Vikings or Twins.
Tyler is a Contract Compliance Manager for City Wide Facility Solutions. He grew up in Farmington and has lived in the state his whole life. He graduated from Mankato State University in 2011 with degrees in Law Enforcement, Parks and Recreation Resource Management, and Parks and Recreation Leisure Time Planning Management. Throughout school, he worked for the Boy Scouts of America in various management positions teaching youth outdoor education. After working with the boy scouts he wanted to get into a new field and found City Wide. After going through the interview process, he really liked the company’s philosophy and how they worked with their clients.
He started in late 2013 as a Contract Compliance Manager and enjoys working at City Wide– a company that cares about its employees, their contractors, and their clients. Since his start, he has seen how City Wide works hard for their clients. It is a motto of his to do his best daily and to work hard helping others when they need it. It is his goal to use that motto each and every day he goes into work at a facility. He is excited to see what challenges are presented to him through his career with City Wide.
Jeff joined City Wide in 2018. He arrived with nearly 30 years experience in the maintenance industry. He oversaw and managed all aspects of building maintenance. Starting at age 14, Jeff started growing a passion and knowledge for the industry. After spending 12 years in the military as Military Police, today he enjoys working with his peers and learning what sets City Wide apart from its competitors.
Gary Curtis, Contract Compliance Manager
Gary is a Contract Compliance Manager for City Wide Maintenance of MN supporting the Southwest Metro Area. He grew up on the East Coast in New Hampshire. I moved to Minnesota in 2011 and married my wife shortly after moving here. We have 3 children and 1 grandson.
He worked at a local engineering company, as a service tech, project manager, and then service writer. In New Hampshire he worked as General manager at a cleaning company for 10 years. He also worked for a company that specialized in fire and water restoration.
He started work at City Wide Maintenance of Minnesota in late 2019 as a Contract Compliance Manager and enjoys working here. He looks forward to helping grow the client base and making the clients happy that they have chosen us for all their maintenance needs. He would like to have a great relationship with all my contractors and help them grow their businesses. He is excited to be a part of the City Wide Maintenance of Minnesota team.
Marc Lovin, Contract Compliance Manager
Marc is a southern transplant that is semi-new to Minnesota. His father was in the Army most of my life which instilled a standard of cleanliness and adaptability to new situations. They moved to Minnesota during his senior year of high school, where he met his now fiancé.
He enlisted in the Army immediately after graduation and spent the next 8 years serving in the US Army Intelligence Corps. During my time in the Army, he has been in leadership positions at various levels and has completed multiple leadership courses, as well as courses on how to maintain our forces’ readiness levels by maintaining sanitary living and working areas to limit illnesses in a deployed environment.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog Bubba. He is also a big fan of Tennessee Football and Hockey teams and enjoys going to games as often as possible.
He looks forward to learning and growing within City Wide, but his top goal is to ensure that everyone under the City Wide umbrella is provided with a level of support and care that will make them feel they are the highest of priority when they bring their concerns to his attention.
Kenny Casper, Contract Compliance Manager
Kenneth Casper has been a Contract Compliance Manager with City Wide Facility Solutions since early 2020. He looks forward to building lasting relationships and helping with growth.
He is a fan of motor sports and E-sports. He has traveled a lot in the U.S. but never outside of the country. Outside of work he spends time with his family who keeps him pleasantly busy and well grounded. The MN MHA has awarded him with two individual awards one in 2012 and another in 2017. He has an engineer license and is pool/spa certified. If something breaks, he is more inclined to repair it himself to learn more.
